While we still are not able to gather in person for an IP section social event, we thought it would be fun to spend some time together (exactly 1 hour to be precise), trying to escape from a virtual escape room. So please join us on Thursday, April 1, starting at 5:00 p.m., for an exciting networking opportunity as we try the “Prison Break” or “The Heist”.
We will be creating small groups (5-8 people) for your escape room journey, and, of course, the groups will be competing against one another. So, not only is this a great opportunity to meet a few other section members, it’s a chance for you to show off your problem solving skills to the rest of the section by sending the other teams home in defeat!
The details and mission videos are below. As space is limited, please register early here.
After registration closes March 30 at noon, you will be assigned to a team of up to 8 and we will provide the links to the game before the mission starts. Here are also a few helpful tips: Your game will start on time, so have everything set 5 minutes prior! The game will use Zoom, so download that if you haven’t already. The game also runs better on a computer—so avoid the Zoom mobile app. And while any browser if fine, Chrome is preferred. Best of luck!
A Million Ways In, One Way Out
The year is 1955. You’ve been wrongfully accused of a crime, and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Your new “home” is a cell that once belonged to an inmate who disappeared without a trace…or did he? Some claim he escaped. Others swear he was murdered by the infamously cruel warden. No one actually knows… can you escape before you suffer the same fate?
There’s an Art to Crime
Your world-class espionage outfit has landed you inside a prestigious art museum. A recently stolen masterpiece is presumed hidden within the office of the museum’s egotistical curator, Vincent Hahn. With the help of your intelligence agent on the outside, you have one hour to find your way into Hahn’s office, recover the painting, and slip away before Hahn returns
